Marco Julio Rojo Salazar

Research Associate

Marco is a political scientist with professional experience in public policy analysis at the regional level. During and after his time as a political science undergraduate at the Tec of Monterrey (ITESM), he contributed to research concerning media portrayals of presidential candidates, as well as indigenous victims of cartel violence. Recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Political Behaviour from Sciences Po, he conducted a thesis on Mexican-Americans’ voting preferences in the United States’ 2024 electoral cycle. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and French. He is particularly interested in identity politics, as well as the intersection between media, politics, and public opinion.
